Fat-Harvesting System

Genesis Biosystems offers the LipiVage™ Fat Harvest, Wash & Transfer System, a patent-pending disposable medical device that makes fat-transfer procedures simple for the physician and his or her staff. Centrifuging, decanting, or exposing fat cells is unnecessary. The device harvests autologous fat cells at a low vacuum level, making it gentler than other methods. Fat cells collect in the harvester, a sterile filtration chamber enclosed within the LipiVage device. Once inside, the fat is gently cleaned and concentrated by the filter under low vacuum. Unwanted fluids pass through the fat and filter, and out into an attached waste canister. The fat cells are immediately ready for reinjection.

Breast Sizer

Unique Lalonde® Breast Sizers™ by Accurate Surgical and Scientific Instruments ensure that both breasts will be the same size at the end of any breast surgery by taking intraoperative relative volume measurements of the breast pedicles and of entire breasts. The sizer fits around the base of the breast or pedicle, and the breast is then stuffed completely inside the sizer. The breast or pedicle can be clearly seen inside the sizer, allowing the surgeon to decide whether more of the sizer needs to be filled with breast tissue. The surgeon then places the sizer on the other breast and compares the two volumes. The sizers do not provide exact volumes, but clearly show whether one breast is smaller or larger than the other. The sizers are available in sizes A, B, C, and D.
