Dermatologists are about to get their glimpse of Equipmed’s Dermapen 3™.
Dermapen, a fractional micro-needling device, helps stimulate collagen induction though controlled wound healing. In practice, it’s used for skin tightening and lifting; improved appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and stretch marks; and minimized pore size.
The latest model, the Dermapen 3™, is easier to control, helps prevent operator fatigue, and works faster than older models, the manufacturer reports. It is slated to be unveiled at the American Academy of Dermatology’s 72nd annual meeting in Denver later in March 2014.
The DermaPen 3™ Kit costs $1,995, and the Spa Starter Kit complete with needles and topicals sells for $2,500.
