Dover was associate chairman, Department of Dermatology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and associate professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School in Boston before founding SkinCare Physicians, a comprehensive facility specializing in dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery. Here, he helps direct SkinCare Research, a state-of-the-art clinical trial hub where a dozen studies are taking place at any point in time.

Dover is also an associate professor of clinical dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn, and associate professor of dermatology at Brown Medical School in Providence, RI. He is past president of both the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and past secretary and president of the New England Dermatological Society. He has organized and directed numerous medical conferences, including Controversies in Cutaneous Laser and Cosmetic Surgery.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Dr Dover on board. PSP is aggressively expanding our reach into the dermatology community as we seek to become the leading multispecialty brand in this space,” says Denise Mann, chief editor of PSP.

As of January 2016, 4,000 more dermatologists will begin receiving PSP each month, making the total circulation more than 25,000 print and digital subscribers.

“Dr Dover’s integrity and thoughtful ideas have been invaluable to the brand in recent months, and I look forward to his input and insight,” she says. “I know that he will give me the real scoop on any and all devices and products in the pipeline.”

PSP editorial advisory board members are tasked with helping to refine the long-range vision, strategic plan, and annual priorities of the brand, as well as providing feedback on articles and suggesting timely topics.

“I am honored to have been chosen to be on the board of this multispecialty magazine. PSP has become an important resource for the dermatology community as we try and keep pace with all of the changes in this dynamic field,” Dover says.
