Eclipse introduces FolliCeuticals MD, a home-use system comprising an oral hair supplement and topical foam. Available only through physicians, FolliCeuticals MD is formulated to target hair health from the inside out while complementing in-office hair procedures.

“We see hair procedures as the biggest growth market in the dermatology and aesthetics space,” states Tom O’Brien, CEO of Eclipse, in a media release. “Combination therapy is well established as the ideal approach for hair loss patients. FolliCeuticals MD will help physicians maximize successful outcomes, get patients invested in the process, and create a better profit center for the practice.”

Developed by board-certified dermatologists and hair loss experts, the proprietary formula for FolliCeuticals MD targets the microbiome while also serving as a daily vitamin.

“We are very proud of the science behind our proprietary formulations, and we plan to continue clinical evaluation and studies with our network of research physicians,” says Dr Sanjay Batra, president of regenerative medicine at Eclipse.

Androgenetic alopecia is the most common form of hair loss in men and women.  The root cause of this form of hair loss is dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which shrinks hair follicles until they stop producing hair. FolliCeuticals MD was specifically designed with a proprietary formulation to address this type of hair loss, the release explains.
