Antiaging Conference Highlights Cellular Repair and Stem Cell Advances

by jfrentzen 9/4/2009 10:49:00 AM

The fourth Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS) Conference is currently underway at Queens' College, Cambridge, England. The meeting brings together experts in the antiaging research and medical communities under a common banner: to expedite the development of truly effective therapies to postpone and treat human aging.

The solution, they say, is to tackle antiaging as an engineering problem. In other words, an important goal is to enumerate the accumulating molecular and cellular changes that eventually kill us and identifying ways to repair -- reverse -- those changes, rather than merely to slow down their further accumulation.

The home page for the SENS4 conference is here. A complete listing of all the conference abstracts is here.

Aw, this was a extremely quality post. In theory I'd like to put in writing like this too - taking time and actual effort to make a good article... however what can I say... I procrastinate alot and by no means appear to get one thing done.

Thank you for this blog post, It's great to see another BlogEngine user. Most people these days seem to use Wordpress, but I think BlogEngine is the best system to use.

It's crazy this gets written about so little, I'm sure the demand is there.

Do you like running Blogengine? If I might --perhaps you should consider adding a few images. I dont mean to disrespect what you've done here; its very good stuff, for sure. However, I think would respond to it more positively if they could add something tangible to your posts. Keep it up, but put a little more into it next time.

You should wite a blog post about a recommendation of sites like Antiaging Conference Highlights Cellular Repair and Stem Cell Advances. I found your site two days ago when I was googling, however I am not really into the blog thing. I don't think it's because I do not enjoy blogs, but more than likely due to the fact that I'm a little ignorant to them. But blogengine is cool.

She told me that she had worked for timberland 6 inch years for an insurance company. She never mentioned family, and I did not ask. I have thought about her timberland mens custom often over the years and how she struggled in a society that places an incredible premium on looks, class, wealth and all the other fineries of life. She suffered from a disfigurement that cannot be made to look attractive. I know that her condition black timberland boots hurt her deeply. http://www.timberland6inch.com/

The great shoes for all ladies around the world. Christian louboutin shoes are amazing and famous for a long history. They sit on shelves along with big labels christian louboutin, Salvatore Boots sale and Canali. The company's closest competition might be AG's Rockport brand, which makes comfortable, stylish shoes in the $100 range. Splash But Auri's Shoes sale come with a bit of spunk and splash. They have christian louboutin sale such as The Ladies' Man, Stingray, Gigolo and Cougar Bait. I was wondering what is up with that weird gravatar??? I know 5am is early and I'm not looking my best at that hour, but I hope I don't look like this! I might however make that face if I'm asked to do 100 pushups. lol Anyway, in my language, there are not much good source like this.

I admire precisely what you have succesfully done in this article. I like the piece where you mention you do this to help offer back but I would certainly guess by many the comments that this approach is certainly on your side as well.
