The rich are often accused of having a vampiric relationship on the poor, and now a California start-up is literally bringing that twisted conceit to life. Ambrosia LLC is a company dedicated to supplying older, wealthier Americans with the healthy, life-giving blood of citizens aged 25 and under. For the purposes of “reversing aging,” Ambrosia is offering transfusions for $8,000. (Strapped for cash? Here are some anti-aging products you can buy for much less.) As of now, CNBC reports, there are about 100 blood customers signed up.Members of this exclusive club must be 35 years or older, but the company’s founder says that most of its current clients are of retirement age. He also notes that the process isn’t guaranteed to reverse aging, but hopes that these initial entrants will be able to serve as the guinea pigs for this potentially revolutionary treatment. (But for a more conventional approach to reversing aging, try this workout instead.)
