At the recent American Medical Association meeting in Chicago, Russell Kridel, MD, medical director of Facial Plastic Surgery Associates of Houston, was elected chair of the Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Section Council.
Kridel has specialized in aesthetic surgery of the face for more than 25 years and has trained and mentored 23 surgical fellows. He is director of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas, Houston, and examiner for the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Kridel has authored 60 peer- reviewed publications and is currently editing his second book on revision rhinoplasty.
