On March 22, Medical Illumination International (a manufacturer of surgical, procedural, and exam lighting) announced it has acquired NUVO Inc (a supplier of surgical lights, integrated video monitoring systems, equipment-management systems, and surgical tables).
According to Alan Kiviat, president of Medical Illumination International, the merger brings enhanced product offerings, expanded distribution, and increased capabilities available through the combined company resources. It will also provide a manufacturing plant, a display and training facility, and a distribution center on the East and West Coasts.
