The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) announces that Steve Jurich has been appointed its new executive vice president and CEO.
“We are honored to welcome Mr Jurich,” says Ed Williams, MD, president of the AAFPRS, in a media release. “After an exhaustive interview process, we selected Steve based on his exceptional qualifications and track record as an accomplished, mission-driven leader. He will do a spectacular job representing our Academy while building upon our history, fostering collaboration, compassion and teamwork to achieve our business priorities.”
Prior to this appointment, for 9 years Jurich was senior vice president and chief operating officer of the National Home Infusion Association. Before that, he held positions as vice president of education and shared learning for the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA, now Leading Age) and as director of operations and development for the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC).
Jurich is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
