e-Stetix is the first web-based 3-D imaging consultation tool. It’s a simple-to-use alternative to existing 3D scanners, according to a study in the Journal of Medical Internet Research.
The software has a new 3D volumetric editor that can allow doctors to illustrate, and modify, the results of fat grafting breast augmentation during the consultation (see photo). In addition, the company developed a new implant revision tool and is offering this to any plastic surgeon conducting a PIP breast implant revision. What’s more, e-Stetix 3D Mammo allows patients to visualize themselves dressed for any occasion following breast augmentation.
All that is needed is an internet connection and three photos. Within five minutes, the software generates an unlimited amount of 3D simulations for plastic surgery patients.
