EZbra

EZbra Advanced Wound Care Ltd, developer of a patented disposable and sterile postsurgical breast dressing that provides an advanced solution for the diverse postop requirements of all breast procedures, announces its official entry into the US market.

The company made its official debut at the Aston Baker Cutting Edge Aesthetic Surgery Symposium, held recently in New York City.

EZbra is a proprietary sterile disposable all-in-one advanced breast dressing, offering a state-of-the-art solution to address the challenges that arise following all breast procedures (aesthetic, biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy, and reconstruction) — helping surgeons, both US and worldwide, address patient discomfort as well as save time in the operating room. Additionally, the disposable and sterile qualities of EZbra may help decrease the risk of infection during recovery, explains a media release from the Tel Aviv, Israel-based company.

“We are proud to bring our product to the US market and to introduce our solution to surgeons and their HCP staff to provide patients with a tailored, sterile, and disposable breast dressing option,” says Efrat Roman, breast cancer survivor and EZbra CEO. “Our goal is to offer a quality post-operative option, while providing patients with the independence, dignity and self-esteem they deserve during recovery.”

Recently, EZbra Advanced Wound Care ltd welcomed internationally renowned plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J. Aston to the company. Aston will serve on the EZbra board, providing medical counsel as they work toward achieving their goal of establishing a standard of care for post-operative breast dressings.

“EZbra is a great new innovative postsurgical bra that adapts to the anatomy of each individual following their breast procedure,” Aston states in the release. “It was designed by a patient after her mastectomy when she realized there were no personalized and disposable bras available. The availability of a wound care solution that addresses the various needs and challenges associated with all breast procedures represents a significant development for postop breast recovery.”
