The variety of plastic surgery procedures is on the rise, and it is important that physicians give their patients postoperative products that provide the support and comfort they need to help them through recovery. Here are some postoperative products to keep in mind.

Tonserio Lingerie

Divinity by Tonserio Lingerie is a line of bras designed for women who have undergone breast augmentation. Divinity bras offer a patent-pending cross-strap design that provides comfort and support. The microfiber elastic straps extend over the shoulders, cross at the middle of the back, wrap around the body, and fasten in the center under the breasts. By redistributing breast weight, Divinity bras improve posture and enhance the silhouette. The bras are available in eight designs and come in white and black. The company also offers panties that can be mixed and matched with the bras.

HK Surgical

HK Surgical offers a complete system for postoperative care. The patented HK Super Absorption Pads consist of three layers that provide patient comfort. The ultrathin top layer provides a dry surface against the patient’s skin. The responsive-tissue layer wicks fluid away from the skin, and the superabsorption layer locks in the tumescent drainage, creating compression. The pad absorbs up to 1,000 mL of fluid. Once the pads are positioned on the patient, the health care provider can use HK’s Elastic Netting to support the pads and keep them in place. Compression garments also are available to be worn over the absorbent pads and netting. Two garments are available: the Optimum and the Maximum.
