Could Botox be an effective treatment for an overactive bladder?

Results of a three-year study indicate that the answer is yes.

Mary Baker, a professor at Rhode Island College who travels a lot, took part in the study. Now in her 50s, she had been dealing with overactive bladder for about 20 years. Often she heard the following words from doctors.

“You haven’t had kids. You’re too young. This really shouldn’t be an issue.”

So, she said, she just dealt with it.

But then she heard about the overactive bladder study, known as Rosetta. She quickly enrolled.
