Please describe the type of service that LocateADoc.com provides.

We send patient leads to physicians. When patients come to LocateADoc.com, they can search through our directory of physicians in their area. Once they find one they like, they fill out a contact form that lists the procedure they are interested in and other information about themselves. That form is then sent as an e-mail lead directly to the physician. We then follow up with every lead each physician receives to help get feedback that allows that physician to see how his or her practice is perceived.

Does LocateADoc.com help find physicians in any specialty?

Patients can locate physicians in more than 62 specialties throughout the United States; and in Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Brazil. Most of our visitors are patients who are looking for a physician to perform liposuction, laser surgery, or hyaluronic acid injections.

Does LocateADoc.com provide detailed descriptions of physicians?

Yes. Physicians can personalize their LocateADoc.com folio pages by uploading their own headshots, credentials, educational backgrounds, information about their practice, procedures they perform, and virtual tours of their practices.

What types of physician do your users seek most frequently? What are the most common procedures sought?

Plastic surgery is by far our most popular specialty, enticing several thousand visitors every day. Our most popular procedures are liposuction, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and abdominoplasty. Patients also seek noninvasive procedures such as botulinum toxin Type A and hyaluronic acid injections and chemical peels.

What is FlexMD, and how can plastic surgeons benefit from it?

FlexMD is Web-site-management software that allows physicians to edit their Web sites, add pages, and make other changes they want from anywhere and at any time. With FlexMD, physicians don’t need to hire a Web-development company to make edits, saving them time and money. FlexMD also offers Web-based training and customer service to help physicians when they need it.

How is this software different than other Web-management software?

FlexMD was designed for today’s medical practices. Physicians receive features unique to FlexMD, such as a virtual practice tour, a before-and-after gallery generator, and specialized content. We have also developed a search-engine-optimization wizard to help make every page of the physician’s Web site search-engine friendly. FlexMD also integrates with LocateADoc.com, so all of the physician’s before-and-after cases and other information can be published to his or her Web site and LocateADoc.com folio page simultaneously.
