The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) has denounced an American-based site that allows women to “earn” funds for breast implants.

The site encourages women to create profiles, post photos, and engage in “online interactive activity” with men who sign up for the site, who then are encouraged to donate money to pay for their breast augmentation surgery.

BAAPS members have called the site “degrading” to women and have said it is a “wholly inappropriate” way to treat the breast augmentation process.

Currently, the site, myfreeimplants.com, claims to fund an average of one breast implant per month and says it uses certified physicians in the United States to carry out the augmentation surgeries.
