A new study last week reported that 75% of UK-based women who have had a breast augmentation procedure in the last 6 months opted to go up just one or two cup sizes.

The report from The Harley Medical Group suggests a "less-is-more" attitude is now being taken by many breast augmentation patients, who are interested in keeping their bodies in proportion and prefer a "lower profile implant" in preference to two other available breast implant shapes: the "round high profile," which produces a more rounded appearance to the upper breast, and the "contoured" breast implant, which is designed to reflect the slope of the breast.

The study also reveals that breast enlargement remains the most popular of all aesthetic surgery procedures, composing 30% of all procedures across the Harley Medical Group’s 23 clinics in Great Britain.
