Is plastic surgery the answer to bullying? This is a divisive topic, and RealSelf.com wanted to gage public opinion. Turns out, the majority of us are against providing surgery – including pro bono surgery – to help stave off bullies and bullying.

A new poll of more than 650 people asked if individuals would allow their child to undergo a procedure to help decrease bullying. According to the poll,  68 percent of respondents were in favor of plastic surgery for teens when it comes to preventing bullying, while 32 percent were not.  When asked about potential procedures, 24 percent said nose jobs and ear pinning may be appropriate for teens if they could help prevent bullying.
