As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, telemedicine is completely reshaping the way dermatologists practice. Dermatologists are relying heavily on telehealth, facing changes to reimbursement and having ongoing discussions about when in-person visits are necessary.

“We have a way of doing things, and we’re used to it — now all of a sudden, things are thrown to the wind,” Adam Friedman, MD, said in a recent webinar on COVID-19-related dermatology issues hosted by the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology on April 1.
