According to New York Magazine’s excerpt of the recently released book, Fire and Fury: Inside Trump’s White House, Ivanka Trump has frequently spoken about her father’s signature hairdo with friends for years. She even allegedly revealed that the President has undergone scalp reduction surgery to preserve his thinning hair.
For those who are unfamiliar with the procedure, it’s performed by removing the bald part of the scalp at the top or crown of the head and sewing together the edges of the nearby, hair-filled skin.
While this surgery may work in theory, the American Hair Loss Association calls it a “procedure to avoid,” claiming it’s “barbaric” and “disfiguring.”
