Modernizing Medicine will host its annual MOMENTUM users conference in a digital setting on Saturday, November 21, from 11am to 4:15pm EST and Sunday, November 22 from 12pm to 2:00pm EST free of charge to clients.

Healthcare professionals who are not yet clients but have an interest in learning more about Modernizing Medicine’s products and services have been invited to participate in a select number of sessions, also free of charge. This interactive industry event will offer a top-notch educational agenda with an engaging online platform to enable participants to collaborate and learn from a dynamic community of forward-thinking medical professionals.

The company’s seventh annual conference provides a weekend filled with networking opportunities and participant-led conversations in a re-envisioned online experience. Throughout the two days, both clients and prospects will have virtual opportunities to get real-time answers from and network with peers, experts, and Modernizing Medicine’s leadership team via text, chat, video, and discussion forums.

Additionally, there will be a dedicated hour each day to connect with Modernizing Medicine vendors in the Virtual Exhibit Hall, engage with online content and participate in video chats with company representatives, a media release from the company explains.

Conference Highlights

Conference highlights include:

  • A keynote by best-selling author and researcher Michelle Gielan on “Cultivating Happiness During Uncertainty”
  • Specialty-specific breakouts designed with various roles, practice and business imperatives in mind
  • Interactive demos of Modernizing Medicine’s innovative healthcare technology solutions

Additionally, all participants will get to hear from Ronda Tews, director of billing and coding compliance at Modernizing Medicine, about the upcoming Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding changes taking effect January 1, 2021, and will learn how the company’s electronic health records (EHR) systems, EMA and gGastro EHR, have been updated to help users as they prepare to undergo this change, reportedly the first major revisions to the E/M code structure in more than 20 years, according to the release.

“With the challenges the pandemic has brought to the healthcare industry, we couldn’t be more thrilled to attend MOMENTUM 2020 virtually and be able to collaborate and learn from practices and medical professionals alike.

“While this year’s event will look different than previous ones, we’re looking forward to meaningful and insightful discussions with peers to further build upon this dynamic community.”
