Skincare Technology introduces the smart card payment program for Revitalight and HandSpa treatments. The HandSpa smart cards may be purchased for a minimum of 20 sessions per card at $5 per session and sold by the medical spa for as much as $30 per session. With Revitalight, the spa charges $1 per minute with a minimum of 200 minutes per card. Medical spas buy time, which is loaded onto the card and inserted into the smart card reader that is attached to the side of the equipment. The company is offering free spa equipment with the purchase of a prepaid smart card.

CosmetAssure offers an insurance program that provides coverage for certain medical complications that arise as a result of designated invasive aesthetic procedures.
