The Logo TV network will debut its new plastic surgery-related program, Pretty Hurts, in May 2011. A recent press release claims that the network will provide viewers with "the real pain in perpetual beauty with the new reality show."
Pretty Hurts follows much sought-after “injector to the stars” Rand Rusher as he pokes and prods his Beverly Hills, Calif, clientele, which includes celebrities, socialites, and even drag queens.
Fifty-year-old women want to look 25, men want to look like women, and we’ll even see moms take in their daughters for “birthday lips.” Of course, Rusher can’t do it all on his own. Viewers will also meet his eccentric coworkers and colleagues who make up the rest of the Pretty Hurts cast: business manager Curt, laser specialist Joy, office manager Elizabeth, and esthetician Maya.
Pretty Hurts will premiere the first of its 10, 30-minute episodes on Monday, May 9, 2011.
