The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS) 28th Annual Breast Surgery Symposium is set to take place Jan. 13-15, 2012, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta. The symposium, titled "Shaping the Future of Breast Surgery," will cover the full range of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

This year’s meeting will include an expanded format for live surgery and a "Hot Topics" session on innovative breast surgery techniques and products. Approximately 400 participants are expected. The symposium is sponsored by Atlanta’s Northside Hospital. "For over 25 years, the Atlanta Breast Symposium has introduced new and exciting ideas, techniques and procedures to the plastic surgery community, both here in the U.S. and to the larger community around the world," said L. Franklyn Elliott, MD, symposium co-chair, in a press release. "This year will continue that tradition."
