3M offers Tegaderm Absorbent Clear Wound Dressing, which allows clinicians to monitor pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other moderately exuding wounds without changing the dressing. In this patented technology, an ab­sorbent acrylic polymer is “sandwiched” between a breathable transparent dressing film top layer and a bottom perforated transparent dressing layer, which is coated with a moist skin adhesive formulated for secure, yet gentle adhesion. The dressing’s large, adhesive-free tabs enable easy handling with gloves and come in both oval and square shapes.

Boiron

Boiron introduces Arnica cream, used in the postoperative healing phase to reduce swelling and bruising of tissues injured by trauma or swelling. Dual-Dress50 is used as a protective covering for autografts and biological and biosynthetic dressings, and it can be placed over partial-thickness wounds. In­flammEnz can be used after facelifts, lipoplasty, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and breast surgery.
